Here are the basic instructions to convert Midi to MP3 using ITunes which ITunes
users should be able to do without any difficulty. Once that is done, you
can put them on your IPod or burn an audio format CD.
First, install the latest ITunes version, get it from apple.com
Put the Midi files into a directory. (ie. download them to a directory and name it appropriately).
In ITunes do "File-Add Folder to Library". Select your directory.
Go to your "Recently Added" playlist and select all of the midi files you want converted. Right-Click for Menu and click "Convert to MP3" **
Once converted, select the newly created MP3 files and Right-Click for Menu and click "Get Info" and give them an album name, so they will be together in one album.
You are done converting to MP3. Now you can move them to your IPod or create a playlist with only the MP3 files in it and burn an "Audio Format" CD.
**Note: If the midi file names are too long, it will not work. In that case, you must first rename the midi files to have shorter names, they must still end in .mid Don't know what the actual length limit is.
